Malaysians celebrate many Chinese traditions, such as the Mooncake Festival (August/September) and the Chinese New Year (January/February).

Hindu festivals like Thaipusam (January/February) and Diwali (November) are also celebrated alongside the Dragon Boat Festival (December) and Malaysia Water Festival (April).

While Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim nation, religious diversity thrives within this country. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, and practitioners of Chinese indigenous religions reside peacefully as neighbors and friends.

Malaysia is home to several places of worship, such as the Batu Caves pictured on the left. The temple inside is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus.
